The European Academy Award-wining director, writer, and producer Frank Wegerhoff started his career in 1989. His work includes productions for Europe’s leading television networks including RTL, ARD (WDR), ZDF, RTL2, VOX, and Kabel1. Mr. Wegerhoff has produced and directed over 40 television programs in a variety of entertainment formats. The production volume of his work exceeds 85 million Euros to date. Frank Wegerhoff oversees all European productions and handles official treaty co-productions, as well as EU tax-credits and subsidies.
Jim Milio has been a writer, producer and director of television and films for more than thirty years. Milio has written, produced, or directed more than 500 hours of prime time television including Dog Whisperer for National Geographic, Founding Fathers for the History Channel, The Discovery Channel’s Eco-Challenge Australia, Rescue 911 for CBS, the Emmy nominated Great Moments in Disney Animation for ABC, and The Real Las Vegas for A&E. In film, Milio wrote and directed Men Seeking Women starring Will Ferrell and was the co-executive producer of the highest grossing romantic comedy of all time, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Milio was co-chair of the Non-Fiction Committee of the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) and was a member of the Non-Fiction Steering Committee of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS) for two years. He has won three People’s Choice Awards (Dog Whisperer, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and Rescue 911) and been nominated for several Emmy Awards and Writer’s Guild Awards. Jim Milio created the globally known brand Dog Whisperer, based on the television series, which grossed over $90 million to date.
Jeanette B. Milio is a Producer / Executive Producer of motion pictures and television programming. Over the span of twenty-five years, and working across three continents, she has been involved in the development, production, and financing of over 40 projects. A majority of projects produced / financed by Jeanette B. Milio included Academy Award ® winning talent in front and behind the camera and were distributed by studios and network stations in Europe (including ARD, RTL, PROSIEBEN/SAT1) and the US (including HBO, Showtime, USA Network, TLC, Discovery, FOX/Disney, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, Paramount, Warner Bros.). Her producing credits include 13, starring Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Sam Riley, Ray Winston, Michael Shannon and Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent, The Experiment, directed by Paul Scheuring, starring Adrien Brody and Forrest Whitaker, Dark Tide, starring Halle Berry, directed by John Stockwell. Milio managed various media investment funds including Far East National Bank’s Hollywood Finance, funding film & television projects with a total production value exceeding $250 million.
Ulrike Kuntze has been involved in film television development and production since 1989. She started her career at the German network station RTL as the Assistant to the head of programming. She managed daytime and prime time game shows. In 1994 she transferred to the rights acquisition department to acquire U.S.-based film & television content. Her introduction in scripted content started with her work as an assistant director on Television series and movies, including primetime drama series for the network stations ARD and PROSIEBEN / SAT 1. Credits include “Circle of Fear” starring Katja Flint, as well as five seasons of the German primetime drama series “Wildbach”. Since 2017 Ulrike has been managing the development department for Alliance Cinema’s film & television projects. At present, her focus is on television prime time drama series produced as official treaty co-productions in Europe.
Eric van den Eijnden

Mr. Eric van den Eijnden is the Founder of Dutch Expansion Capital and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. van den Eijnden’s primary role in the team is managing the Fund and organization, strategy and institutional network. He serves as a Partner at NeSBIC Investment Fund II, BV and NeSBIC Groep BV. He served as a Partner at the Riverside Company. Mr. van den Eijnden joined Riverside Company in 2006 and was responsible for generating deal flow in the Benelux region. Prior to this, he was an Entrepreneur and Managing Partner with an independent investment company involved in high-profile Dutch transactions. Mr. van den Eijnden joined Greenfield in 2003 as shareholder and as Managing Partner at the Berghave fund. He joined NeSBIC in 1999 as an Investment Director of the existing funds. Mr. van den Eijnden held several sales and business development positions at Rabobank and ELF Aquitaine in Paris. He serves as a Member of Supervisory Board of Oniteleco – Inforcomunicacoes, S. A. Formerly, he served as a Director of Corporate Finance at Generale Bank Nederland, as a Strategy Consultant within Coopers and Lybrand and as a Business Developer at Elf Acquitaine Internationale. Mr. van den Eijnden has fifteen years of experience in fund management, private equity, deal originating, execution, structuring and managing across all kinds of businesses and also has international commercial banking and managerial experience. He serves as a Member of Supervisory Board of ONITELECOM – Infocomunicações S.A. He is fluent in Dutch, German, French and English. Mr. van den Eijnden holds a Master Degree in economics, Cum Laude, from Tilburg University, post graduate program in Business Administration and B.B.A. from Nijenrode University, and BSC in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University.
Thomas Jennewein studied at the University of Mainz, Germany, majoring in Business Administration. He graduated as an MBA. After he has worked for Hoechst AG and Lufthansa German Airlines, he was several years as label manager at Sony Music Label White Records. He has worked for one of the most successful producers worldwide Jack White. This Label has brought forth talent like Laura Branigan ( know for hit songs such as “Gloria”, “Self Control” etc. ) as well and the most successful songwriter of all time,
Diane Warren, who won several Academy Awards © and Grammy Awards ©. Jack White’s music publishing company White Records was nominated for several Grammy and Echo awards. With over 500 million sold records, White Records is one of the most successful record companies in the world.
After his years with Jack White, Thomas Jennewein started his own company J-Management , which manages top grossing artists, including Sarah Brightman. J-Management markets artists in cooperation with several leading record companies, such as EMI and Warner.
In 2007 Thomas Jennewein entered the motion picture and television industry, first to market and license his artists further, and then to engage in production and development by managing investments for productions. Alliance Cinema is proud to include Thomas Jennewein in the team to manage its music and content licensing and investor relations in Germany.
David Li has 12 years of experience in managing investments in film and TV content.
At HBO, he handled a multi-billion programming slate, which includes hits such as “Silicon Valley” and “Game of Thrones”. Additionally, David has helped HBO and Warner Bros. provide financial greenlights for such flagship co-productions such as “Westworld”, “Demimonde”, “Lovecraft Country”, and “The Watchmen”. As the market for Peak TV has intensified in the last 5 years, David has played a critical role in helping HBO’s leadership navigate the company’s long-term programming strategy and investment activities. In addition to a deep expertise in TV, David also possesses crucial insight in entertainment M&A and venture investment strategies.
Before David’s TV tenure, his career began in Fox Film digital distribution, supporting the greenlights of the Academy Award Winning “The Black Swan” and “Fantastic Mr. Fox”. He later helped NBCUniversal’s digital expansion worldwide post the Comcast merger.
A storyteller at heart, his love in entertainment resides not only in the power of stories but also in the ever changing landscape of the business. David has launched Nine Tails Holdings to consult for and investment in original content, dedicated to bring Asian minority perspective, culture, and stories to a global audience.
In addition to his TV/Film endeavors, David serves as Director of Programs at media/tech focused non-profit N3XT CON. His mission is to establish a platform for a wide range of under-represented voices in entertainment. His serialized quarterly event, Entertainment 1 to Infinity, highlights worthy ideas in leadership and creative processes in the ever changing world of storytelling.

Laura Nativo is the most passionate person you’ll ever meet when it comes to dogs…whether it’s training them, traveling with them or treating them with all the love and compassion they deserve, she has truly earned her title of “The Fairy Dogmother.”
Laura has built a career as a well-known television personality, pet lifestyle expert, celebrity dog mom and professional dog trainer. She served 4 years as the resident pet expert on the Hallmark Channel Emmy-nominated TV series, Home & Family, and is also known for her appearances on The Greatest American Dog (CBS), Dog Park Superstars (GSN), Marie (Hallmark), The TODAY Show (NBC), E! Hollywood Dogs (E!), and the web series, Preston’s Planet Live and The Adventures of Laura and Preston.
Laura has also been featured in countless publications including: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Entertainment Weekly, Animal Wellness, American Dog Magazine, Dog Fancy, Entertainment Weekly, and numerous online pet blogs.
In addition to her work on TV, Laura is also a highly respected expert in dog training and behavior modification, studio trick training, and therapy dog preparation. She enjoys helping families find their perfect pet, teaches dog training workshops across the country and loves helping homeless pets develop better manners in order to improve their chances of finding a forever family.
All three of Laura’s dogs volunteer as therapy and education dogs.
In addition, Laura and her dog Preston have been honored at the Westminster Dog Show for their philanthropic endeavors with a Golden Paw Award for “Pet Star of the Year”. Wherever Laura goes, her dogs travel with her. Laura’s motto is: “Home is where my dogs are”.
The Company Mascot
Alex Rossi is an internationally recognized dog and animal behavior expert who started training animals at age 6. Alex has written seven books on dog behavior and hosted his own TV series “Pet Mission” on Nat Geo for three seasons, solving some of the most challenging dog behavior problems on this popular program.
After researching and learning animal behavior in his early years by working with a wide variety of different animals, Alex earned both an Animal Science degree and a master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis on animal behavior from the University of São Paulo. In the University of Queensland, Australia, he specialized in domestic animals. He is currently completing a degree in veterinary medicine in Brazil.
He also founded and runs a well-known dog training and behavior company (Cao Cidadao), serving more than 1200 dogs per month. As a scientist, Alex conducts research and has authored scientific articles like “A Dog at the keyboard,” published in Animal Cognition, that demonstrated and tested the competence of a dog trained to use a keyboard to ask for specific objects and activities.
Alex also shares his knowledge through his radio program and bi-monthly television appearances on the largest TV channel in Brazil. He also gives lectures all over the world, offering insight into animal behavior research and training methods.
His drive to impact lives on a daily basis led Alex to create a non-profit organization called “Cao Terapeuta” (“Doctor Dog”). Through this program canines are brought to hospitals in Brazil to visit and provide comfort to patients.
Alex is married and is the proud pet parent of Estopinha, who has more than three million social media followers.
